Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Minimum 10th pass or ITI or equivalent from a recognized Board/Institution.
- 12th pass candidates are also eligible to apply depending on the level of post.
Scouting/Guiding Qualification
- A President Scout/Guide/Rover/Ranger OR Himalayan Wood Badge Holder in any section.
- Should have been an active member of a Scout Organization for the last 5 years.
- Should have attended two events at National Level or All India Railway Level and two events at State Level.

- UR: 18 to 30 years
- OBC: 18 to 33 years
- SC/ST: 18 to 35 years
Age relaxation applicable as per government rules.

- SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/PWD/Women/Minorities/EWS: ₹250
The fee should be paid through Indian Postal Order/Demand Draft in favor of the authority mentioned in the official notification.
Selection Process
The selection process consists of:
- Written Test: 60 marks
- Scouting Skill Assessment: 10 marks
- Marks on Certificates: 30 marks
The written test will include objective and descriptive questions related to scouting and guiding, general knowledge, and reasoning.
