Job Role & Responsibilities
- Operate conventional/CNC machine tools (lathe, milling, grinding, boring, drilling, etc.) for precision manufacturing of defence components.
- Interpret engineering drawings, job cards, and process sheets to maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish standards.
- Adhere to safety protocols, especially in areas handling military explosives and ammunition; use PPE and follow SOPs at all times.
- Undertake tooling setups, machine maintenance checks, and process quality inspections as per prescribed QA guidelines.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and stores to ensure takt time, throughput, and traceability requirements are met.
