Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for the Junior Research Fellow position:
Educational Qualification: M.E./M.Tech in Electrical Engineering (EE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Computer Science Engineering (CSE), or a closely related field.
GATE Qualification: A valid GATE score is mandatory for eligibility.
Academic Performance: Candidates must have scored a minimum of 60% or 6.5 CGPA in M.E./M.Tech.
Desirable Skills
Knowledge in advanced research areas such as wireless communication, machine learning, and embedded systems.
Hands-on experience in MATLAB, Python, or similar scientific computing platforms.
Familiarity with research publications and working in an academic/research setup.
Job Responsibilities
The selected Junior Research Fellow will assist the principal investigator in research and development activities under a sponsored project. Responsibilities include:
Carrying out simulations and experiments as part of the project scope.
Documenting research findings, preparing technical reports, and assisting in publication work.
Presenting work progress during internal and external reviews.
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a consolidated monthly salary of ₹31,000 along with HRA (as per IIT Patna norms). No additional allowances will be paid.
